I have been a professional nanny for 10 years. I originally started as a way to support my son, while taking him to work with me. I fell in love with being a nanny, and started becoming hungry for knowledge. I discovered a whole world of nanny classes, extra educational curriculum, different perspectives from parenting books, etc. As I encountered children with varying personalities I wanted to know of different approaches so that I could become adaptable. My son is a teenager now, and he no longer comes to work with me, but I can't imagine loving another job as much as I love this one.

My passion is to encourage children developmentally. I love encouraging children's brains to learn and grow, whether that's sensory play for babies, or developing themed weeks for older toddlers. Children are not only capable of learning, they also have a natural desire to through their curiosity. Not all children learn the same way, but once you work with their particular learning style they generally really enjoy learning.
